Canyon Hills Ranch is located in the rural hills overlooking Napa Valley. The estate is 83 acres of oak studded rolling hills, vineyards and olive groves. The property was owned by the same family since the 1880s. Phyllis and Greg Bahue acquired the Napa ranch in 2016.
The hills are warm in the day, nights are cooled by the breezes off San Pablo Bay. This climate creates an environment which is ideal for Napa grape production. The clay soil and unique mineral and nutrient content allow for Canyon Hill Ranch grapes to develop an intense flavor and character. The topography, sun and wind exposure allow for a perfect expression of the Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grown here.
Years ago, a grove of 1200 Taggiasca olive trees were planted. The trees were imported directly from Liguria, Italy. The new grove was named after the mother of the man who planted the trees. The 'Regina Grove' produces super premium olives and olive oil . The olive oil From the 'Regina Grove' at Canyon Hills Ranch has won many awards both domestically and internationally.
